Thank You Reception held June 19th 2014
On June 19th 2014 Canadian Blood Services hosted a reception to thank our early financial supporters and volunteers.
The premier Gudbranson-Scotiabank Celebrity Classic took place at The Marshes Golf Club near Ottawa on June 10th 2014, in support of the Campaign For All Canadians for a national public cord blood bank. The amount raised surpassed our expectations, with over $50,000 raised!
Phase One Complete
On Sept. 30, 2013, an exciting milestone was reached for Canada’s national public cord blood bank in Ottawa.

On March 18, 2014 as the Ottawa Senators took on the New York Rangers, Canadian Blood Services held a blood donor and stem cell registrant appreciation night, sponsored by Bayer Inc, CSL Behring, Coughlin & Associates Ltd and Manulife Financial.
2013 Charity Golf Classic raises over $60,000
The 3rd annual Canadian Blood Services' Charity Golf Tournament took place at the
Eaglecreek Golf Club near Ottawa on September 19th, in support of the
Campaign For All Canadians for a national public cord blood bank.
All 25 Climb4Cord Climbers Summit Mount Kilimanjaro
Climb4Cord Climbers raise over $360,000 for Canada's first national
public cord blood bank.
Climb4Cord Event lauched June 10th at the ING DIRECT CAFE in Toronto.
In August, 25 climbers will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in support of
the Campaign For All Canadians to create a national public umbilical
cord bank. The launch event was held at the ING DIRECT CAFE.
Annual Corporate Financial Supporters Luncheon held June 18th, 2013
The Canadian Blood Services' Executive Management Team held their annual luncheon to thank all our corporate financial supporters. Liset Stanton (mother of Daniel, stem cell transplant recipient) spoke to over 100 attendees of her families journey from Daniel's diagnosis at age five with leukemia to today with her happy and healthly teenager.
