Premier Gudbranson-Scotiabank Celerbrity Classic rasies over $50,000!
The premier Gudbranson-Scotiabank Celebrity Classic took place at The Marshes Golf Club near Ottawa on June 10th 2014, in support of the Campaign For All Canadians for a national public cord blood bank. This community event was run by two volunteers we cannot thank enough for their dedication and hard work pulling off a terrific event, Donna Leith-Gudbranson and Ryan Kelahear.
This tournament would not be possible without the support of our sponsors: Scotiabank, Branham Group, Cisco, LabCorp, Air Canada, The Bytown Group, Cotton Candy, Gilmore Printing, Hill & Knowlton, inMotion & TSN1200 Ottawa.
The amount raised surpassed our expectations, with over $50,000 raised!
Receiving the cheque [in photo] is Margaret Miedema, Director, Fundraising & Development, Pauline Port, Chief Financial Officer and VP Corporate Services from Eric Gudbranson, Florida Panthers NHL Player, with his siblings Chantal, Dennis and Alex, his father Wayne, and mother Donna, Co-chair Ottawa Committee.
The day’s celebrities included NHL retirees and players, who joined participants out on the links for a perfect, sunny day and great game of golf!
